As the Yoga teacher for Wednesday afternoon sport at our school, Sue Hume was outstanding. From day 1, she made the students feel welcome and relaxed; her calm, warm, confident manner providing a wonderful role model for the benefits of regular yoga practice. Sue always paced her lessons to suit the students’ ability, concentration and energy levels, which maintained their engagement. She would physically demonstrate the postures herself whilst clearly articulating the nuances of alignment, focus and breath and when appropriate, Sue would also slice in information about nutrition, sleep, mental health and lifestyle choices. The students who took Sue’s classes always left feeling lighter, clearer and more flexible, which they then carried with them into their broader academic and personal lives. Sue is a truly gifted and inspirational Yoga teacher and I have no hesitation in strongly recommending her!

This past October I cautiously yet with an open mind signed up for the yoga spring cleanse run by Sue Hume. I couldn't have been more happy with the results. I completely lost my sugar cravings, I am more energetic, calmer,clearer skin and experienced a general feeling of well-being I haven't for a long time.It was a complete reboot for me. I found the programme easy to follow and Sue and Janelles gentle and caring instruction a beautiful sanctuary at each session. The food was sometimes challenging in there beginning but then became very nourishing and delicious. Instruction was modified to suit individuals where needed. I would highly recommend the programme.

I just wanted to share how amazing the recent 3 day cleanse was and how much I got out of it. The twice daily yoga and meditation sessions were so beneficial and therapeutic and although I was skeptical about the food component, I was pleasantly surprised. The cleanse allowed me to reboot, and kickstart my healthy food choices that had fallen away during Covid lockdown. The cleanse allowed me to regroup back to healthy habits. The cold showers, no coffee and no wine were definitely worth it, I felt amazing after the 3 days and have continued to incorporate some of the food choices into my everyday life going forward. I would definitely recommend it and I look forward to the next one. Thank you.

Sue is a wonderful role model as her calm, warm, encouraging approach positively influences her students.She is good at breaking things down into manageable steps so that the student can feel encouraged and motivated by successful achievement.

My daughter has gained strength and has better strategies to calm herself after her year of sessions with Sue. I would highly recommend Sue as a teacher for anyone who needs guidance in yoga or mindfulness.
